Writing the truth...

All to often I read blogs and get the feeling that well they don't really like the products they are reviewing. I think anyone can tell when someone really likes something. I'll use an example. Recently a blogger wrote about a skincare line that I knew to be total crap! And I usually don't use those words but this skincare line is terrible. The blogger wrote how she loved it and it was affordable. Her blog post seemed all to scripted. Which I'm sure it was. Some bloggers are paid to say nice things about a product. Which is fine for them. But for me I will never write about things I don't personally love. I would never tell a friend or anyone reading this to try something that wasn't simply great. So that being said I want you to know I am honest in what I write about. Right now I only blog for the fun and informative side of it. And I enjoy it. If you take the time to read my blog I  appreciate you! So only the best :) - Ashley

  1. And that is the way it should be! That's what prompted this post: http://www.gograhamgo.com/2011/11/lesson-to-review-bloggers-importance-of.html

  2. Felicia I have read this post and I appreciate honest bloggers! I would never want to direct my friends and people who are looking for answers to an unhonest opinion. I read alot of blogs, and I appreciate them alot lately. I've learned so much from them. But I have run across a few unhonest bloggers. I can tell without a doubt their words are force fed! I knew the skin care line this blogger was blogging about was just awful. I have I think mentioned it on here (rhymes with SminnyHurl Skincare). It burnt my face, and the ingredients are so bad I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to use it. So when I ran across the post it just struck a cord. I would never do that to my followers/friends/readers. But I realize I'm not most people. I love that your honest too! That's why you have so many followers because they have seen you speak the truth and aren't misleading!
