The Holiday Hangover..
You can sure tell the Holidays have been here! We are dragging! As in 2 maybe 3 cups of coffee to make it through this Monday! Thank god for the Keurig I got for Christmas (Thanks babe)! Every year the week after Christmas is always rough. So how do you get over the "Holiday Hangover"?
Step 1. Clean, Clean, Clean! Seriously though, pack up the holidays and wish them well until next year!
Step 2. Get back on your routine! This one is a major reason why the holidays kick all of our butts! It messes with your kids, your sanity, and your sleep. So as easily as you can get back on your routine.
Step 3. Stay home! Not everyone will be able to do this one but if you can stay home. Take a day to recharge after all the holiday hustle and bustle. If you can't take a day off then try going straight home after work. The errands can wait one more day!
Step 4. Treat yourself! This one is easy. We all tend to get giftcards this time of year. So why not treat yourself to something you want. Maybe even just a latte or a pedicure. Anything to help you relax.
Step 5. Detox! The holidays do a number on us. And chances are we didn't eat super healthy. So get back on that healthy eating kick and that will also help you to get over the "Holiday Hangover"!
