Real Mom Style on the weekends

I have recently been inspired by some fabulous bloggers (Mommainflipflops2 and ThriftyandChicMom looking at you gals). Sometimes when you become a Mom your style suffers. It becomes all about your children and less about "Do I look good"? So recently while surfing the web I came across some postings by my favorite bloggers. They really inspired me to step out of my sweats and into something cute! Just because I'm a Mom doesn't mean I can't look cute too. So with that in mind I give you My Mom Style :)

This weekend we went to the San Diego Safari Park for their Butterfly Jungle. While we weren't able to get into the Butterfly Jungle we did have fun walking around. We are member to the San Diego Zoo and love all that it has to offer. Here's what I wore...

My shirt is BCX from Macy's (retail $24.95)
My shorts are American Eagle outfitters (got them a few seasons ago)
Crystal flip flops are by Roxy (retails $20.00 at the NEX)
Necklace by Charming Charlie (not sure on the retail).

I always look for affordable pieces. Seasons change and so do trends. I don't see the point of spending a ton of money on something that won't be in style in a few months. #RealMomStyle
