Shop Small Saturday

Small Business Saturday is one of my favorite days of the year! It's the time when I get a ton of my Christmas shopping done. What a great way to put money back into your community and in the pocket of those who really matter. Anyone who has taken on a Small business is my hero. It's not easy, and it takes a ton of heart. I love supporting the makers and do-er's!

First up is my all time favorite clothing boutique, Nobella Grace Boutique. So many of you know of my love for NBG! They offer such great unique finds at affordable prices. It's a win/win! They also love their customers. Something you will rarely find from a corporate store. I love the attention to detail and thoughtfulness behind Nobella Grace. It has become such a great community of women!

Adding Fringe to your Fall wardrobe

Fall is the perfect time to step up your style game! Adding a little Fringe to your Fall wardrobe can be the easiest way. I personally love Fringe, it's flirty and fun! This week I've teamed up with some fabulous ladies to show you more than one way to add Fringe to your wardrobe!

One of my favorite ways to add Fringe is with a vest. Vests are a great way to dress up a casual outfit. You can wear them with tops, dresses, rompers, you name it! No rules here!

I decided to pair my vest with a casual long sleeve shirt and ripped jeans with booties. It's an easy go to look for me. I can run errands, drop off my kid at school and still rock some Fringe. You don't have to be super dressy to rock Fringe for Fall. Just pop it on & go!

If you love my Fringe Vest you can find it {{HERE}}!

If Vests aren't your thing I've added some other idea's below for how to Add Fringe to your Fall wardrobe. Let me know what you think in the comments... -Ashley

Moms Do Fall Fashion : Poncho Love

Ohh Fall... how excited am I?! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. Don't get me wrong Summer is great and all but I adore Fall. We actually live in a state where "Fall" is actually a thing. Don't laugh because in San Diego Fall feels like Summer, usually hot and occasionally pants weather.

I knew when I saw this Plaid Poncho go up on Nobella Grace's website that I had to add it to my Fall wardrobe. I have never owned a Poncho but I knew I needed this one. It feels like a soft blanket that you can wear without getting weird looks. Anything cozy and chic is a must for me!

I've teamed up with the fabulous gals over at BonBonRoseGirls to bring you our Fall Fashion faves! Be sure to click around on their page and see the other fabulous collaborations from this week! My personal fave is the Moccasin Boots look they shared! Also an added surprise is they are giving you the chance to win a $50 gift card to Nordstrom! So go enter to win ladies! Welcome to my at home coffee bar

For as long as I can remember I've wanted an at home "Coffee Bar". I had plans to make my coffee area when we lived in California but space was limited in our apartment. So while we lived in California I planned out how I wanted my future coffee bar. Fast forward to our big cross country move and here we are! We finally have a house with the space I needed!

One of the first parts of creating my "Coffee Bar" space was planning a theme and colors. I stuck to a rustic country chic theme. I searched around for artwork and pieces to complete the space. I decided I wanted big letters after watching how Joanna Gaines uses letters on the show "Fixer Upper". I found great letters at my local Michael's craft store.

Hanging the letters was actually pretty easy. I laid them out and moved them around until I liked the way they looked together. Then came hanging time, my husband helped for that part since I'm a bit short on height!

The next part was finding items to place on the coffee bar and extra wall decor. We found a great customizable modular bar that hangs on the wall from World Market. You can buy pieces to hang on the bar and make it work for your space. {{Find it Here}}

I choose a rack for the Modular bar that would hold mugs and spices. I also picked a cute side basket that could hold my kcups. Such a great find from World Market and absolutely affordable!

The biggest piece you need for your coffee bar... is well the actual bar! That part was a doosy to find. I originally ordered a cabinet from Target. But everytime it would show up at my doorstep it was damaged. So I returned that piece and kept looking. I eventually found and fell in love with this piece. It's made by Ashley furniture and I believe you can find it online. I did not buy it online though, I bought it at a local furniture store.

Now all I'm looking for to complete my "Coffee Bar" is baskets underneath. We are thinking of doing wine crates or wire baskets that are canvas lined! More pics to come! In the meantime I hope my coffee bar inspires you to put one in your home! Until next time... Ashley

9 Fabulous ways to wear Neon for Summer

Neon is perfect for Summer time! I have often shy'd away from Neon though. In the past year I have come out of my "black and white" shell and now I actually wear color! It's fun to be bubbly and bright! Get yourself some Neon and have fun with it! There isn't really a wrong way to wear it!

I decided on a bright color Yellow tunic and my Neon Fringe Clutch for a fun Summer like Pop of color!

Summer Tunic Time!

Yes Summer time is finally upon us! Well it was a few weeks ago here in San Diego but it's since been a bit chilly. This of course didn't stop me from buying one of my all time favorite Tunic dresses when it came back for the Summer season. I have been a long time fan of the Athena tunic dress from Nobella Grace boutique. I was over the moon happy when it came back. Even my sweet friend Alyssa alerted me on Instagram that it was already up on the website! So Alyssa and I teamed up to show you a couple ways to style the Athena tunic dress!

I ran to the website to find it in not one, not two but three awesome colors! I knew without a doubt I "needed" the yellow! I mean yellow is the color of happiness and sunshine! Click and in my cart it went!

I love to wear the yellow with a white racer back tank top and shorts underneath for a cute casual look! I added one of my favorite Druzy tassel necklaces from Metal Marvels and my cute new Fringe clutch from Target!

But of course I couldn't just order one... No not me. I had to order at least two! I also picked up the Cobalt blue Athena.

Another great way to style a Tunic dress is with jeans! It's still a bit chilly here in San Diego, so I wore my favorite grey pocket cardigan to complete the look.

Get your White Jeans ready for Summer!

Hello there Summer time sunshine! Time to pack the winter clothes and bring out the fun Summer brights & whites! Summer is one of my favorite times of the year for fashion. You can wear pops of color and I swear it instantly lifts your mood! I am joined by 10 of my beautiful fashion blogging friends to bring you 11 ways to wear white jeans this Summer!

I have always loved white jeans but I get that some ladies are a bit intimidated by them. Here's my tips on wearing white jeans this Summer. First let's start with the length. I am on the short side being only 5"3. So for me I gravitate towards capri or crop length. Find a length you are comfortable with and wear those white jeans!

Another tip would be to dress your white jeans up with a cute print or bright color top! It is Summer time so don't be afraid to add a little color to your look!

Another cute way to wear white jeans is with a graphic tank and chambray top! This is a more casual on the go look.
